Delaney Harris-Finch is an architect, historic preservationist, and community planner currently living in Brooklyn, New York. In 2009 she earned a Masters of Science in Historic Preservation from Pratt Institute’s Programs for Sustainable Planning & Development. Prior to relocating to New York City, she lived in Denver, Los Angeles, and finally Houston where she earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Construction Management at University of Houston’s Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture. Her professional influences include Jane Jacobs, Norm Abram, James Marston Fitch, Brian MacKay-Lyons, Dan Phillips, and many more. She loves cities, buildings, walls, and the diverse communities that give them life. Delaney’s work revolves around providing holistic consultation for special projects merging contextual design and preservation for community organizations and under represented cultural resources.
