These pics are amazing. Was Leonard Knight just as weird and awesome as I hope he would be? This is one of my dream folk art sights, so jealous you got to visit.
Leonard joyously led 5 minute tours as people arrived. He doesn’t engage in dialogue much (I think mostly due to poor hearing) but he gets his point across. He spouts off his building procedures and quantifies the amount of people and pictures that he has seen, but not in a manner that has any hint of robotics or twenty odd years of repetition. “Keep it simple!” he says, and immediately I think, there is nothing simple about this. He smiles and encourages you take pictures and explore, and then he walks away, keeping it simple.
To my knowledge it is not. I took photos from the top of my car until a security guard from a neighboring/unrelated lot approached me by golf cart and politely warned me that I was on federal land and an official guard of the property would probably be by shortly to escort me out. I thanked him, played dumb tourist, snapped a few more photos, and then quietly left the area.

I rec the Canon S90, it’s new and very very good! Otherwise, you can also borrow our little old elph point and shoot.

This home was featured on an HGTV series on unusual homes. It didn’t look roomy at all! Very cool though!
